About Me

Therapy can feel difficult to start, so it is already amazing that you’re on here. I aim to help people foster self-compassion and perseverance as they embark on their therapeutic journey. Collaboration is important, so you’ll be included each step of the way.

My clinical expertise lies in eating disorders, body image issues, and self-esteem. In addition, I work with people struggling with anxiety, mood disorders, trauma, and borderline personality disorder. I have also undergone Seleni’s Intensive Training for Reproductive Mental Health. If this sounds like something appealing to you, I will do my best to help you along this healing journey.

My approach isn’t one size fits all as I know people are vastly different and require different things. Cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and compassion-focused therapy are the modalities that I utilize in treatment. Cultural awareness and competency are practiced to maintain an inclusive environment.

My style is to have therapy flow more like a non-judgmental conversation while learning skills simultaneously. This adds to a more relaxed atmosphere where you can feel comfortable talking.

My objective isn’t to provide all the answers to my clients, but to provide adaptive coping skills for them to use in order to manage life stressors. We’ll work together when creating goals and deciding how to address them.
