About Me
I believe therapy should be grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect for each person’s journey. I strive to create a nonjudgmental space where clients feel safe being themselves and supported in their growth.
My ideal client is a child or adolescent navigating emotional, behavioral, or developmental challenges—whether it’s anxiety, difficulty focusing, low self-esteem, or struggles adjusting to change. I also enjoy supporting clients of all ages who are working through life transitions or looking to build healthier coping strategies. My approach is compassionate and grounded in helping clients feel safe, heard, and empowered to grow at their own pace.
My style is person-centered, warm, and collaborative. I use humor to build rapport and keep sessions engaging while integrating mindfulness and CBT techniques to help clients regulate emotions and challenge unhelpful thought patterns.
Clients often describe me as warm, easy to talk to, and calm—with a good sense of humor that helps break the ice. Sessions are relaxed but intentional. I focus on creating a supportive space where clients can explore their feelings, develop insight, and practice tools that promote real-life change.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based practices, and a person-centered approach. My experience is primarily with children and adolescents, but I’ve worked with clients across the lifespan. While I don’t currently work with couples, groups, or the LGBTQ+ community specifically, I bring openness, curiosity, and respect to every individual I meet.
I’m married with four energetic boys, a male dog, five goats, and a horse. We live on a 150-acre farm, and I love spending time outdoors, reading, and soaking in quality time with my family. My life is busy, full of love (and animal chaos!), and helps me stay grounded and present with my clients.
